Chorkor Digital Lab Instructor

Chorkor Digital Lab Instructor

Job Category: I.T
Job Type: Full Time
Job Location: Chorkor

Chorkor Digital Lab is in Chorkor Ghana. Chorkor is an overpopulated fishing community on the outskirts of the nation’s capital, Accra. It is one of the poorest areas in the city. The unfortunate reality faced by the locals of Chorkor is that many of the children are the main breadwinners of their household, selling the products of a hard day’s labor for their parents, who are fishermen and fishmongers (A fish smoker). The financial burden of school is not necessarily the fees, but rather the loss of a small income the family depends on. BASICS addresses these issues by sponsoring the cost of education, uniforms, stationery, and learning materials, which, in turn, reduces the burden on the child’s family. We are looking for someone passionate about helping such communities and creating a lasting impact. Our lab instructor must be innovative and creative, being able to reach different types of learners with different levels of education/understanding.
