About Us:
In the crossroads of empowerment and education, we’re excited to announce the collaboration between the formidable Black Employee Network Women of Amazon and BASICS International’s Increasing Girl Access Program (IGAP).
This partnership aims to reshape the future for girls in Ghana by removing obstacles and ensuring access to quality education.

Our Mission:
EmpowerHER goes beyond being a mere collaboration; it’s a movement. Our mission is to provide a platform for Black women to unite and have a lasting impact on the lives of girls in Ghana through the Increasing Girl Access Program (IGAP), a program under the umbrella of BASICS International.
We firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking limitless potential,
and every girl deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Why Education Matters:
Education is more than acquiring knowledge; it’s a transformative force that opens doors, breaks down barriers, and initiates a ripple effect of positive change. By investing in the education of girls, we are investing in the future leaders, innovators, and change-makers of our world.

How You Can Support:
Sponsor a girl’s education from one of the tiers below or make a donation of any amount. Our goal is to support 27 girls for the 2023-24 academic year with a target of $76,000.

-12 Girls x $2,100.00 a child/per year: Primary community-based day school with after-school care
-12 Girls x $3,300.00 a child/per year: Private Primary boarding school
-1 Girl x $3,700.00 a child/per year: Private High school boarding school
-2 Girls x $3,900.00 a child/per year: University
