Job Summary:

BASICS International is seeking a motivated and outgoing Sales Girl to represent our social enterprise at various vending activities and events. The ideal candidate will actively engage with customers, share the impact of our programs, and help drive sales to support our mission. This role is essential in spreading awareness about our work and contributing to the financial sustainability of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend and actively participate in all vending activities, events, and markets.
• Present and sell products to customers, explaining the social impact of each purchase.
• Engage with customers, providing information about BASICS International and our mission.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and securely.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of products at vending sites.
• Track sales and inventory during events, providing reports to the supervisor.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of vending stations at events.
• Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends to improve sales strategies.
• Represent BASICS International with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.
• Perform other sales-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in sales, retail, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage with customers and share the impact of our social enterprise effectively.
• Comfortable handling transactions and managing cash.
• High level of energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passionate about social causes and making a difference through impactful work.
