BASICS runs a variety of programs in order to achieve our mission of ending cycles of poverty, illiteracy, hunger and child labor in Ghana, permanently. Our programs have evolved over 20 years of experience, and compliment each other to provide holistic support to the community of Chorkor, and other surrounding areas.

Break the cycle is our Social Intervention program. Children in Chorkor are sponsored to go to school, and then attend our intervention centre. Keeping children at school and engaged in their work is our biggest job! Read more
